Where Wednesday - The Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival

Next weekend I will be traveling to Pensacola Florida to attend for my first time the Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival. It is one of the largest arts and crafts fairs in Northwest Florida, with more than 130 vendors. The festival attracts more than 100,000 attendees during the three-day event that takes place the last weekend in September. From barbecued octopus to their world-famous shrimp and grits, Pensacola's seafood is known as some of the best in the world. Plus all the fresh and fabulous seafood is sourced from the Gulf of Mexico and the festival is free. I’m most excited to try some fresh gulf oysters and possibly barbecued octopus and of course I plan to attend all the cooking demonstrations where local celebrity chefs prepare seafood delicacies.  I plan to bring a couple cans of food to help feed the coast and also the victims of hurricane Florence!
