The Idaho Food Handler Training Course is suggested by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
While the course is not mandated, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare encourages all food handlers to obtain knowledge about food safety and sanitation. The Idaho Food Handler Training Course does just that. In just about an hour the food handler is trained and will receive a downloadable certificate and handler card. The certificate and card provides the establishment with proof that the employee has been well trained.
